The Northern Hemisphere is experiencing unusually cold weather. Snow cover last December was the greatest since satellite monitoring began in 1966. The United Kingdom had the coldest March weather in 50 years, and there were more than a thousand record low temperatures in the United States. The Irish meteorological office reported that March “temperatures were the lowest on record nearly everywhere.” Spring snowfall in Europe was also high. In Moscow, the snow depth was the highest in 134 years of observation. In Kiev, authorities had to bring in military vehicles to clear snow from the streets.

The media and the politicians have successfully made the so-called "fiscal crisis" a real life drama. Countdown clocks abound with how many days, hours, minutes and seconds are left before we go over the cliff. The countdown reminds me of the 1962 Cuban missile crisis wherein Walter Cronkite was also counting the minutes until the Russian ships passed a certain line in the Caribbean.

I have been a bad boy. At the U.N. climate conference in Doha, I addressed a plenary session of national negotiating delegates though only accredited as an observer.

Our politicians continue to worry that we may go back into recession. They seem not to understand that our country has not been in a cyclical recession – instead we are in a growing and worsening reg-cession.

One question you might ask yourself when visiting the Save The Country website is how we are different from other advocate groups. You might also ask, given that we utilize public material and releases from high profile individuals such as Sean Hannity, or Glenn Beck, or Jim Rogers how our views differ from them.

While the greeniacs and regulatory zombies may fantasize about being God’s gift to mankind, the truth is they are working-Americans worst nightmare. Their self-serving actions have put Americans out of work, increase global pollution and risk the full faith and credit of the United States of America – thereby jeopardizing peace in the world.

Green Investments have done well to remove the GREEN from investors' pockets and relocate it into the hands of others. Once heralded by the left wing, and your friendly investment adviser, as the greatest investment "in our lifetime" these investments have now fallen hard as reality has come back into focus.
